Explained for every age
For kids (7–11)
This see-through figure has little lights on different parts of the body. Each one tells you about an illness that lots of people get, like a cold, an allergy or a broken bone. Almost all of them can be prevented or treated. The most important thing: if something hurts or you feel strange, tell an adult you trust.
For teens (12–16)
A disease is a state in which a part of the body stops working the way it should. Some are caused by germs (like a cold or gastroenteritis), others appear because of how the body itself reacts (asthma, allergies, type 1 diabetes), others are linked to habits and the passing of time (high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes), and others are injuries (fractures). At each marker you'll see what happens inside the body, what causes it and how to prevent it.
Pre-Med (17+)
The scene brings together common health problems of different kinds: acute infectious (common cold, gastroenteritis), chronic inflammatory airway disease (asthma), hypersensitivity (allergies and anaphylaxis), chronic metabolic and cardiovascular (diabetes, hypertension), surgical emergencies (appendicitis), traumatic (forearm fracture), neurological (migraine) and nutritional deficiency (iron-deficiency anemia). Each card summarizes pathophysiology, key signs, diagnostic basics and treatment principles, without doses: specific management is always decided by a health professional.
